Two years ago on Valentine's Day we were at the doctors office 5 days before I was due to have Alex. The doctor told me Alex was getting too big to deliver and wanted to take me over to labor and delivery to have me induced. We really didn't want to have our baby on Valentine's day so we asked if we could wait a day. We then called Abby and asked her if it would be alright if she got a baby cousin for her 3rd birthday. She was all for it! Alex was born in the same hospital, same room, same day and only 3 years and 2 hours after Abby. They have always had a special bond. She is such a special girl. This year the kids celebrated their birthdays together at Abby's house.

Alex got a ton of matchbox cars from Mamah and Papa
He also got some dinosaurs from Mamah and Papa. Abby and family gave Alex a Sit-N-Spin which he accidentally found days earlier when we were helping them move. He loves it. It was the perfect gift! Abby is really into scrapbooking so we gave her a bunch of scrap paper and supplies. She is so grown up. She has always been ahead of her age. She takes such good care of the younger kids. If Alex is with her I know he will be well taken care of - probably better than when he is with me!

Alex was so upset that we broke the truck. He walked around carrying it, picking up pieces and trying to fix it. Poor kid.
Unfortunately, with school and work and bishopric stuff, Mike and his family weren't able to make it down for a party. However, we are counting down the days until graduation(2 months and 13 days) and they get to return from the North! We did gather some candy for Josh though (Amanda will love me when he gets it!). Thanks to Lyndsie for having us over just one day after moving in. We had so much fun. Also, Happy Birthday Abby! We love you!
