Camping

We have an annual tradition to go camping with my parents every summer. They go up for about a week and the rest of us come up as we can during the week. This year we went up American Fork Canyon and camped at the Timpanoake camp ground. We stayed 2 nights and had a blast. My mom got the best pictures but here are some of ours.

More Camping

This time we were at the Nageli cabin up at Defa's Dude Ranch. Alex liked hanging out with Grandpa Nageli, watching the trees, and being all around spoiled. With our families growing, it was nice to have some alone time with Shawn's parents.

Hiking

We decided to go on a hike with our friends, the Blairs, last Saturday. Then we went swimming at my parent's house afterward to cool off. Alex had fun with Daddy packing him around.

Alex's Favorite Things

Alex loves helping daddy with projects, hanging out with cousins, and all the cousins love hanging out with Heidi. Abby loves to do Heidi's long, pretty hair. Alex also loved the fireworks on the 4th of July. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures.

Sister Young

During the first part of June we had Sister Holly Young come stay with us. She is the wife of one of the bishops from Shawn's mission. Originally from New York, she now lives in Albuquerque and came to Salt Lake to do some research for a book she is writing about the church in Albuquerque. She stayed at our home and we dragged her around to every event we had going. She and Alex really seemed to enjoy each other. Hope to see you again soon, Sister Young!
