We have been trying to sell our BMW. We want to buy an SUV to have more room and be able to pull our trailer. We have been hoping to sell the BMW to be able to buy a nicer SUV. The week before Thanksgiving we found a buyer. Some lady bought it for her SPOILED 17 year old. Poor girl. We are glad we were able to sell it. We plan to buy the SUV when we move into our NEW HOUSE!
...Which brings me to my next gift... We got an offer on our house the first part of November! And a full priced offer at that. Hooray! We took it and had to be out before Thanksgiving. We will be living with my parents until our new house is built. We are building in the neighborhood between Bangerter and the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple. The subdivision is called Highpointe. We are really excited because we are so close to the temple and it is NOT in daybreak. (No offense to our friends in Daybreak but we need a large yard :) ) It was a blessing to sell the house but I must admit it was a bit difficult packing and getting ready when I have been sick for several weeks from my condition...
...My condition being that I am finally PREGNANT! We have been trying for the better part of this year. I know you have probably all noticed my "bump". It has been really hard to hide this one. It shows up faster with the second child. I swear the minute I took the pregnancy test I gained 5 pounds! But I can't complain. I haven't been near as sick with this one as I was with Alex. I have been tired (probably more due to my nearly 2 year old) and sick on and off. For the most part I am functional now. We are really excited for #2! We just hope there aren't any complications with the house so we can move in before baby comes out. I am about 10 weeks along which makes me due the first week in July. That means I am just 2 months behind my baby sister, Lyndsie. We are excited to finally have kids at the same time. I am hoping with this one I can go into labor on my own so I don't have to be all drugged up!

Another blessing I have had is in living with my parents. Let me explain. My mom had surgery on Shawn's birthday - 2 days before Thanksgiving and right after we moved in. I had decided to help with Thanksgiving. My sisters and brother and dad helped me. We made 10 pumpkin pies, 1 cherry pie, 3 apple pies, 2 jello salads, homemade mashed potatoes, and Dad did the turkey and the stuffing. It was a TON of work. I think I have helped with Thanksgiving before but never to this extent (and with my condition...). I have grown to appreciate my mom and all she does for us. She makes the pies look easy. I gave up after making half the pie crusts and went and bought pre-made (something that is NEVER done in our home). Luckily everyone forgave me for my short comings. I have tried really hard to help make dinners every night and keep things cleaned up but when I have bad days we just have to get pizza. It is a lot harder with a bigger household of people. There are often extras here and there are tons of dishes, laundry, etc. We go through a ton of milk, bread and cheese. Grocery shopping happens far too often. I appreciate my parents and will be happy to get back to just my little family and my little responsibilities.
**Disclaimer: I have pictures of the baby and tried to post them for 2 days but I think blogger is having problems. Fine! The one time I have pics to post! I guess I will try to post them later.
