I Can Do It Myself!

So this afternoon for lunch I had made some homemade yam baby food for Alex. He usually eats lunch very well. Today he was being fussy and insisted on grabbing the bowl. He started scooping the yams out with his hands and liking his fingers off. Then he got a hold of the spoon. It made a pretty good mess but he had fun and ate all his food...well, all the food that didn't end up all over him. It is so fun to see him learn and grow up.
